Flashback 4

Maths

https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/daily10

Daily 10- This week I would like you to select level 4 and divide by 12. Have a go at 10 seconds or less.

For your mental warm up I would like you to have a go at the questions on the document titled 'flashback 4'. You will have 4 questions to answer on work that we have previously completed in school. You can self mark them using the answers on the slide afterwards.

TT Rock Stars

Play 3 games in the garage area and 1 soundcheck.

Task

There is no video for today. Instead, I would like you to complete the task that I have uploaded below. It is just two worksheets to complete using all of the things we have learned in our length and perimeter unit. It will help me to see if we need to revisit anything in this topic.

Please try to complete the work independently and without help if possible but a grown up can read the questions to you if they are available.

Worksheets and answers

Topic

WALT: To retrieve information from internet sources.

I would like you to choose one of the states of America to research using the internet. Please use the 'state report' sheet below to record your findings. If you cannot print, create your own template in your book using the headings given. You can draw pictures for the state bird, food, flower and flag. Take your time over this and add colour if you can.

In class, we will be doing a short presentation of our research to the other children when we have finished. It would be super if you could ask someone to record you speaking about your chosen state and upload it to dojo if possible for me to see. It doesn't need to be any longer than 5 minutes if you are able to do this.

Reading

For today's reading, I would like you to complete the comprehension 'Aesop's fables' (pages 6 and 7) which can be found in your CPG reading book. Write your answers into the book and then share with me on dojo. Remember to look at how many marks a question is worth as this will help you with how much explanation you need to provide.
