I've done the very best I can with the quality of these maps - I've tried to zoom in as much as possible without things becoming too blurry! On some of the maps, our school is on the very edge - you will have to have beady eyes to spot it! I will also upload copies of the map as pictures which you can download to your device or print.
Park House Pit is also known as Clay Cross No.7 pit. Back then, the Clay Cross Company owned several mines in Clay Cross and the surrounding area. Lower Pilsley / Danesmoor would have fallen into this area too!
